ABOUT THE EVENT
The inaugural Atlantic Mine Rescue Competition and Training Symposium will be held in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, uniting mine rescue teams, industry leaders, and safety professionals from across the region.
This premier event aims to enhance mine rescue excellence through top-tier training, hands-on learning, and valuable networking opportunities, while promoting collaboration across the mining and emergency response sectors.
The week will commence with a welcome meet-and-greet in St. John’s on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, providing attendees with an opportunity to connect in an informal setting. Training sessions will take place on May 21 and 22 at the Glacier Arena in Mount Pearl and surrounding areas, offering classroom instruction and practical exercises led by seasoned industry professionals.
